Hi Everyone,
I love the spring; more outdoor play with Mia, attending local community events, and cherry blossoms. I love cherry blossoms.
But despite my love of the season, the entire household suffers from hay fever and requires regular antihistamines. Not to mention that at this point in my life I have a lot of medication for a multitude of things including depression and, quite recently, extra supplements due to a severe lack of nutrients.
My partner also has a few ailments that need long-term medicine (aren't we a pair!) and with a four-year-old, it is always good to have lots of kids' medicines and first aid items to hand.
For a long time now, we have kept an extremely disorganized medicine cupboard. So recently, after spending 15 minutes looking for my meds only to find that I had run out, I reached 'that' point!
I felt overwhelmed, and when I get that build-up of tension that threatens to explode I like to take a deep breath and imagine I am on a mountain top far from anyone and I let out an all mighty scream!
Once that was done I thought to myself, or rather yelled to myself, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" I had to find a way to organize this disorganized chaos. It is just one more thing that is slowly driving me crazy.
Okay, crazier.
With the amount of stuff, I have in my home, I do not want or need to buy anything else. What I needed was to find a more creative way to sort the cupboard using what I already had.
So I came up with this selection of converted cardboard medicine drawers. And yes, you can see by the before photos why these are needed!!!

For the boxes, you will need: (full disclosure there are some affiliated links below, all it means is that if you decide to buy any of my recommended products and use the below links, I will get a percentage at no cost to you)
A tape measure
Pre-used package boxes
Any medium-weight scrap fabric with no stretch- I used denim. (enough to cover boxes)
Any ribbon or bias binding of about 20 mm width. (enough to use as trim on the top of the drawers)

And there you have it.
I hope you enjoyed this project.
Please like, share, and stay safe out there
